Support Groups

The Kinship Caregivers Support Groups were created to give grandparents and other relatives raising children a chance to meet others with similar experiences. Kinship Care Providers share their knowledge, strengths and hopes with each other. Needs are identified and addressed on an ongoing basis. It provides a supportive and safe place to share concerns. Speakers from community agencies come to meetings to answer questions, provide information about relevant issues and to help access resources.

Aurora

3^rd Wednesday of every month from 5-7 pm, held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church 1 Del Mar Circle.

Bennett/Byers

1^st Thursday of every month from 6-8 pm, held at Bennett Christian Fellowship 670 Colfax, Bennett.

Bethany

2^nd Thursday of every month from 12-2 pm, held at Bethany United Methodist Church

Denver Indian Family Resource Center

2^nd Monday of every month from 5:00-7:00 pm, held at the Denver Indian Family Resource Center 393 S. Harlan St. Lakewood co-facilitated with DIFRC
