Bringing Healing Closer to Home

As the demand for mental health services continues to grow across Northern Colorado, more individuals and families are searching for compassionate care they can trust. To meet that need, St. Raphael Counseling has expanded its reach with a new clinic in Westminster, bringing healing, hope and professional support closer to the communities that need it most.

The new location represents more than additional office space—it reflects St. Raphael Counseling’s commitment to ensuring that quality mental health care is accessible to individuals and families at every stage of life. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, learning differences or life transitions, the ministry seeks to meet them with both clinical excellence and compassionate care.

“At St. Raphael Counseling, we are committed to walking alongside each person with dignity, offering both clinical excellence and hope,” said Dr. Michelle Connor Harris, Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Executive Director. “Expanding into Westminster allows us to reach more individuals and families who are seeking compassionate, high-quality mental health care grounded in faith.”

As the largest Catholic therapy practice in the country, St. Raphael Counseling provides comprehensive mental health services for children, teens, adults, couples and families. The Westminster clinic offers individual, family and couples therapy, as well as evaluations for learning differences, attention concerns and autism spectrum disorders.

The Westminster office joins a growing network of locations in Denver, Englewood, Littleton, Louisville, and Greenwood Village, making care more accessible throughout the Denver metro area and Northern Colorado.

Beyond its clinic locations, St. Raphael Counseling extends its impact through an innovative school counseling program that places licensed counselors directly in Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese of Denver. By providing on-site counseling, crisis response and collaboration with teachers and families, the program helps students navigate challenges ranging from anxiety and behavioral concerns to autism and dyslexia.

This integrated approach allows counselors to meet students where they are, supporting their social, emotional and academic well-being while strengthening the communities around them.

Accessibility remains a cornerstone of the ministry. St. Raphael Counseling accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid and offers sliding scale options to help ensure financial circumstances do not become a barrier to receiving care.

Every day, St. Raphael Counseling fulfills Catholic Charities’ mission of providing healing and hope. Through compassionate relationships, professional expertise and a commitment to serving the whole person, the ministry continues to help individuals and families find strength, healing and renewed hope for the future.
