Catholic Charities Housing recently hosted a Service Day at St. Valentine Apartments in Loveland, Colorado, bringing together members of the leadership team, site team and services team for a day of hands-on service and community building. Staff worked side by side to support the property and the residents who call St. Valentine Apartments home, reflecting the strong partnerships that help this community thrive.
Throughout the day, team members rolled up their sleeves to care for the shared spaces residents experience every day. Walls were cleaned, floors polished, windows washed and sidewalks power washed — all to ensure the community remains welcoming, safe and beautiful.
The day wasn’t just about the building. Staff also hosted a lively bingo event for residents, complete with treats, prizes and plenty of laughter. Residents connected with neighbors, enjoyed the activities and shared a joyful afternoon together.
Moments like these reflect the heart of Catholic Charities. When our teams serve side by side, we care not only for the buildings but also our neighbors and the relationships that make these apartments a true home. Service Days like this show how even small acts of care and presence strengthen communities and make residents feel welcomed, supported and valued.
