MISSION ADVANCEMENT
MEET OUR PHILANTHROPIC ADVISORS
Craig Saeman
CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
I believe that to whom much is given, much is expected. Jesus spoke often in the Gospels compelling us to help those who are less fortunate, and Catholic Charities is at the forefront in the Denver community of offering a hand up to so many who come to our doors. I’m a Denver native with a strong background in investment management, development and philanthropy. I currently sit on non-profit boards that include FOCUS executive & PAC boards, the Augustine Institute board of regents and ACE board of trustees. My wife Shelly and I are blessed with five children (Courteney is awaiting us in Heaven) and seven grandchildren. I am honored to lead the Charities development team and be called to this opportunity to help give back to a Church I love. — Craig
KATE CRISHAM
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
I believe that God has tapped me on the shoulder many times in my life and asked me to listen to the Holy Spirit. In 2019, I heard His call and gave an enthusiastic “yes” to working at Catholic Charities.
Twenty years ago I began my career as an AmeriCorps worker serving underprivileged children in Washington, DC, a role that evolved and found me drawn toward fundraising for schools in DC, adult literacy efforts in New Mexico, and university initiatives for my alma mater, The University of Notre Dame. Along the way I picked up a masters degree in public administration from American University, and more importantly, started a beautiful family with my husband, John, that includes four children and a very spunky puppy. I’m an active volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul Church and School near our home in Cory-Merrill.
My deep conviction in God’s great mercy and the inherent dignity of all people – no matter their circumstances or how they arrived there – drives my desire to help connect Coloradans to the outstanding efforts of Catholic Charities. — Kate
CODY FEIKLES
PHILANTHROPIC ADVISOR
I grew up in Pennsylvania and played several sports, attended an all-boys Catholic high school and loved spending time with my friends. With my identical twin brother in seminary and my theological interests, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Theology from Gannon University and a Master of Theological Studies degree from Boston College.
I taught high school Theology and then went to work in Chapter Development for Legatus. I love building relationships with extremely generous stewards in the Church. During this time, I also married my wife Victoria and moved to Colorado to pursue a work opportunity for her.
I feel very blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with Catholic Charities here in Denver. Catholic Charities of Denver affords the perfect opportunity to do just that. — Cody
TIM URBAN
PHILANTHROPIC ADVISOR
I believe the solution to our world is service to others, and the service we provide at Charities is the solution—it starts today! I am humbled by the work done at Catholic Charities and am proud to be a part of it.
In addition to working for Catholic Charities, I am a firefighter for South Metro Fire Rescue. After graduating with an MBA from Babson College in Boston, I helped launch a software startup in San Francisco and worked as its COO. I have an entrepreneurial background, having owned and sold several businesses. My wife and I are Denver natives and raise our seven children in Littleton.
Catholic Charities is the voice for the voiceless—those marginalized and forgotten members of our community. It is my privilege to be their voice and invite you to the joyful life found through serving them. — Tim
NOLAN D. O'KEEFE
PHILANTHROPIC ADVISOR - NORTHERN COLORADO
I am thankful to be the first Philanthropic Advisor with Catholic Charities based in Northern Colorado. I am a proud Fort Collins resident and Colorado State University Air Force ROTC alum. I served on active duty for six years as an acquisition program manager and ROTC instructor. During that time, I married my beautiful wife Amber, and we were blessed with three children in five years. I also received my master’s from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining Catholic Charities, I served in the Athletic Department at CSU with the ministry Athletes in Action.
During our free time, I enjoy watching college sports, tinkering in the garage and playing “knee football” in the living room with my children.
I am excited that God has created this opportunity for me to invite and challenge my neighbors to partner with Catholic Charities as we extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to the poor and those in need. — Nolan
