SAMARITAN HOUSE THANKS YOU
Your generosity changes the lives of others. With your support, we will continue to feed, clothe and house those who need it most. Our Sam’s Supper event last Saturday was a great celebration of the impact Samaritan House has across Colorado. Our fiscal year 2024 statistics are in - across all locations, Samaritan House provided a whopping 275,000 nights of shelter and served over 640,000 meals.
Please consider giving a generous gift today to support a neighbor in need!
You can bring purpose, promise and hope to those experiencing homelessness today!

SAMARITAN HOUSE DENVER
The first building in the nation built specifically to serve people experiencing homelessness, Samaritan House on Lawrence Street has been a Denver staple since 1986 and continues to support single women, families and veterans. In recent years, we’ve opened additional locations in Denver and have grown to be the largest provider of shelter, food and support services for single women, a growing population of people without homes.
This year, with more families than ever knocking on our door, we leaned into our mission and opened the doors even wider to be able to accomodate them. Seeing the need to provide our little ones with high-quality medical care, we launched one of the first pediatric clinics in the country to be located inside a shelter. This groundbreaking initiative is part of a comprehensive approach that combines primary care and mental health services to those families who call Samaritan House home.
SAMARITAN HOUSE FORT COLLINS
Samaritan House Fort Collins provides shelter and meals every day of the year to people experiencing homelessness. We operate Larimer County’s only low barrier emergency shelter for women and families, and we have a housing program for men, women, families and veterans. Additionally, we provide homelessness prevention services for seniors and those that require emergency utility assistance.
This past year, the number of people seeking shelter skyrocketed. Each night, staff at Samaritan House Fort Collins transformed spaces like the cafeteria, conference rooms and common areas to accommodate the influx of people on a cold night seeking our help.
As the only shelter for women and families in Fort Collins, Samaritan House plays a crucial role in addressing homelessness and food insecurity in the area by providing a safety net for vulnerable populations and working towards improving their overall well-being.
SAMARITAN HOUSE GREELEY ON THE GUADALUPE COMMUNITY CENTER CAMPUS
At Samaritan House Greeley, the shelter for individuals and families on the Guadalupe Community Center campus, we provide essentials, including comfortable shelter, nutritious food, seasonal clothing and support services like case management and community connections.
Our 120-day Program is designed to combat homelessness and is available to men, women and families. It encompasses life skills classes, support groups and connects participants with community resources to promote self-sufficiency. Additionally, we offer a spectrum of services, encompassing emergency assistance, immigration support, senior services and mental health support through St. Raphael Counseling.
In response to the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, we initiated the Hospital to Housing program. This initiative assists homeless individuals referred from nearby hospitals by offering up to 60 days of shelter coupled with on-site medical care. The ultimate aim is to facilitate their transition into secure, permanent housing. We continue to provide support for up to six months post-move into more permanent housing.
